I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day at work today. I sat in a 2 1/2 hour CSE meeting that was downright nasty & made me miss 3 of my groups (the part of my job I actually enjoy). I walked out of the building & was greeted by sunny skies, warm breezes, and 53 degree weather- and shockingly NO basketball games or tutoring for me to be tied down to. I drove home & Roxy and I took the opportunity to get out for a much, much needed walk.
It was such a beautiful afternoon. As we walked up through the cemetery, we passed by the gravesite of an old high school classmate of mine who recently passed away. Put my "bad day" in perspective pretty quickly & I was feeling quite idiotic for feeling so stressed out & miserable. Within a few minutes into my walk with Rox, I was already feeling about ten times better. Hopefully there are lots of these warm days in our future- we really need the exercise.
