We went down to Monroe today for our elective 3D/4D ultrasound. It was pricey but so worth every penny. We got to see our baby boy yawn, smirk, suck on his wrist, kick, stretch, and nearly shove his foot into his mouth. These things might seem silly to anybody else, but they are just about the cutest and biggest-deal-ever when you are a first-time mom/dad sort-of-'seeing' your baby for the first time. Within about five seconds of putting the wand on my belly, the ultrasound technician made a comment about how huge his cheeks looked. The technology was amazing. I feel like I got to know my son a little bit today :) In addition to the 80 or so still images, we also got a DVD video of the ultrasound. I would definitely recommend the folks at
Hudson Valley Ultrasound to any expecting parents in the area. They were fabulous to work with. Baby's heartbeat was around 130 today and he is positioned with his head resting on my bladder (which explains the increase in my bathroom trips) and his tush/legs up under my ribs.
Here's a peek at our little boy at 28 weeks, 6 days, growing, growing, growing....
