Baby Showerin': Narrowsburg Edition

Yesterday, my mother-in-law & sister-in-law gave us a wonderful baby shower in Narrowsburg.  I got to see Aunts & cousins from John's side of the family who I haven't seen in so long.  Emma & Baby Frank were so fun to be around.  Frank is the happiest, laid-back baby & I can only hope his new cousin will be the same.  Emma was the hostess-with-the-mostess, passing out favors, helping me open gifts, & providing general entertainment in the form of jokes, singing, & dancing.  Andre & Amy, who we hadn't seen since their wedding, made the trip up and I know John had a great time catching up with Andre while the ladies were busy oooo-ing and aaaaaaah-ing over all the baby gear.  Baby boy received so many wonderful gifts including his crib, high-chair, video monitor, lots of team snoopy gear, more adorable outfits, a beautiful handmade blanket, and lots of personal care essentials.  There were even a few surprise gifts from my godmother in Colorado & one of my high school friends; thanks Aunt Mary & Emily!!  While the gifts were much appreciated, the best part was spending time with family and friends.  It was so much fun.  Today we'll be busy washing everything & assembling the crib.

We are SIX weeks away from our due date!!  Hard to believe.  So much to get done before then.  Here's baby boy at his last ultrasound @ 33 weeks, 6 days.  He's weighing in at 5lbs, 9oz already and is expected to gain about a 1/2 lb per week until he's born.  He'll be a big, bouncing baby.
