In addition to the bridal bonanza this weekend with a wedding and a bridal shower, I've also been busy reunion-ing with my mom's side of the family, the Rafferty's. My Aunt Mary and cousin, Laura, her husband John, and their children Carmen, 4, and Rylan, 6 months came to visit from Colorado for the week. My mom was nice enough to put them up at "Chez Krom" for the week as my Aunt calls it. Thursday, we took Laura & John to NYC for the first time. Laura really wanted some NY pizza & a hot dog from a street vendor. We were able to fufill her requests :) We dragged Kevin along with us & did times square, southstreet seaport, and ground zero. It was a hot but fun day.

Sunday, we ventured down to West Point for my cousin TJ's graduation party. My grandparents were in town from Florida and all my mom's siblings were there so it was pretttty special.

Monday, we headed back down to Highland Falls- sporting these highly fabulous Rafferty's shirts with the logo from my Great Uncle's old store. We started out with some food & drinks at Long Pond, then went down to Main Street for some 4th of July parading followed by our annual trip to Tony's for greasy, delicious pizza.

It was so great to see everyone & I hope everyone travels safely back home :-) Now it's time for me to attend to the results of the excessive eating & drinking that has consumed the past week or so. Back to working out tomorrow!!
