It doesn't seem possible but allegedly we've had the past four days off?
Sunday, my mom hosted my baby shower. It was wonderful; all of my bridesmaids were reunited & I got to see family and friends who I hadn't seen in forever. My sister-in-law made the trip from Wilkes Barre with Emma & Baby Frank. The house was decorated with blue baby decor and there were just so. many. gifts. Baby Tenbus scored his crib bedding, countless adorable onesies and outfits, his bath tub, bottles, travel system, exersaucer, and lots of other loot. Especially cute was a chocolate kiss candy countdown jar from the Coach Lane Rafferty's filled with hershey kisses- one for John & I, for each day until baby's due to arrive (plus 2 extra weeks worth after that, let's hope we don't need it haha). Amanda & George were on a week-long break from school & down for a visit, so Amanda got to be here for my shower!! She made adorable rubber duckie punch which was delicious!! The cake was also tasty & fit our nursery theme donning a Snoopy. After the shower was over and mostly just close family & friends remained, I ditched my dress & got into sweats and a t-shirt. I had a great time visiting with everyone and can't believe I get to do it again with John's side of the family in three weeks!!

| My Pregnant Partner in Crime LOL 31 weeks & 37 weeks |
Monday & Tuesday John had basketball practice (of course) but in our free time we squeezed in some time with the Knoxes. Luckily they're home for the whole week so hopefully we'll get to see them a few more times. We also interviewed a pediatrician and took a tour of our hospital's birth center. That was really a gut check and made me realize even more that this whole pregnancy thing will ultimately result in CHILDBIRTH!!! Who knew?!? Haha. We tried not to get too overwhelmed by all the information but as much as it was to process, it was nice to see where I would be laboring/delivering/recovering. Knowledge is power, right? The nurse we spoke with was so informative and helpful. Hopefully after some childbirth and breastfeeding classes in March, we will feel even more prepared.
Thanks to everyone who made this weekend a truly unforgettable one.
