I meant to start a blog ages and ages ago....primarily for our own benefit; wanting to remember the small occasions and special moments of our first year of marriage. Life gets crazy and before you know it, it's been over a year and I never got around to it. I don't really know where to start but I guess I'll start with The Who.
John & I have been together for almost three years now, married for a little over a year. We owe a big thank you to our friends, Mattie & Tasha, for introducing us that July night at Cobblers in 2007. We grew closer and closer in friendship and then love. It's been an incredible journey and we look forward to everything that's waiting for us in the future.
We are the very proud pet parents of Roxy, a 3 year old boxer mix and Riley, a 5 year old orange tabby cat. They provide us with endless amounts of joy, laughter, and love. Of course, they are both spoiled rotten but that's how we believe animals should be treated. Roxy loves Riley and attempts to kiss him and play...Riley is indifferent but puts up with more and more of Roxy's affection as time goes on. Here they are cuddling; sort of :)
I am a huge animal lover. I must confess, since starting my new job at Liberty, I have been known to go out to Agway on my lunch to visit the puppies for sale. We are hoping to add to our fur family soon :)
The Where. We live in a small town in the sullivan county catskills. We are actually in the process of trying to sell our house. That's been a learning experience. Luckily we are not in a position where we have to settle....we are only going to move if we get a good offer. We are looking for a place with a bigger yard and more space for our future family.
The What. The day to day silliness of our lives. John & I both work in public schools and everyday it's almost guaranteed that one or both of us have ridiculous stories to share about the students we teach. Then there's always the antics of day to day life with our spoiled rotten feline and k9.
Well that's the crib sheet of the Tenbus' for now. Stay tuned.
