This past week we were treated to a visit from the Knoxes. Every time they're here, I'm reminded of how much I miss having Amanda around. She really is my very best friend & it sucks that we live so far apart. During the week or so they were in town, we managed to squeeze in a nice lunch, a spa/shopping day, a quick visit with my family, and an evening of spirits & The Voice. Amanda and I talked so much about the special years we spent in Boston during graduate school; it was eery that we ended up being together the week Boston was attacked. We have so many wonderful memories there and couldn't help but reminisce and really feel for our beloved Bean.
Mason was very shy & hesitant with the Knoxes at first; it had been about 5-6 months since they'd been here. Luckily, though he did come out of his shell & Amanda got to see all the fun new things he is busy learning. More than ever, I wish we lived closer....
So, again, I reiterate, I hate geography!!
