Where'd October go & Where'd this snow come from??

What a long & eventful week in the Tenbus household.  Last weekend, I went to New Paltz for a fabulous lunch at P&G's with my sisters & two of my girlfriends from TV, Patty & Dana.  It was the first time I saw them since I told them our big news so it was great to see their excitement.  It was a fun day despite the fall weekend traffic in the Newps.  John & I spent last Sunday taking out our winter clothes, doing laundry, lounging around & watching football.  A nice low-key day together.

It was a busy week at school.  My first full five-day week this school year (believe it or not) thanks to dr appointments, jewish holidays, conferences, etc.  I have to suffer through one more five day week before Veteran's Day!!  I don't know how people with normal jobs do it!!

Thursday night, I met my friend Rachel for dinner at our mutual favorite cheap dining spot, Ricke Lens.  We talked babies and nurseries and of course caseloads and medicaid billing.  While Rach & I were eating dinner we looked outside & realized it was sleeting.  It was October 27th.  Confusing.  That was nothing compared with the weather that was to come this weekend.  Also Thursday night, John & I found out that our friends Matt & Tasha are expecting a GIRL!!  We are super excited for them & suspect our own growing little one might also be a girl.  We won't know until our anatomy scan on November 23rd.  Just under 4 weeks away!!

I woke up this morning & realized, I have a hint of a rounder belly developing.  I decided I would take my first "belly" shot:

15 weeks, finally rounding out :)

I got up early & was out this morning, running a few errands.  Luckily I returned home before the Nor'easter hit!  I still can not believe that there is currently a foot of snow outside my door, on October 29th.  My family had plans to attend the Army football game at West Point today but the weather foiled us.  My parents decided to host a superfun football party at their house instead & we had a great time.  We watched the Black Knights on television as the poor guys slipped & slid up and down the field, while the snow piled up.  I'm hoping that within a day or so this stuff will be gone.

Snowtober?
So John, the pets, & I are all snuggled in for a snowy night....before Halloween.  Bizarre.  I will leave you with an adorable photo of Riley & Roxy snuggling on their new fleece blanket.
My sweet little girl & little boy
